黨的十八大以來，習近平總書記在領導全黨全國各族人民推進黨和國家事業發展的偉大實踐中，立足世界發展大勢和國家發展全局,看眼民族複興偉大夢想,緊緊圍繞培養什麼人、怎樣培養人、為誰培養人這個根本問題,牢牢把握立德樹人根本任務，作出了一系列有關教育改革發展的重要論述。

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC) in 2012, General Secretary Xi Jinping has led the whole Party and people of all ethnic groups in advancing the great cause of the Party and the state. In this process, he has made a series of key statements on education reform and development in light of a shifting global landscape, national development goals, and the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation. These statements focus on the fundamental questions of what kind of talent should be trained, how, and for whom, and define the fundamental mission of education as building strong moral character.

習近平總書記教育重要論述是習近平新時代中國特色社會主義思想的重要組成部分，是馬克思主義基本原理同中國教育實踐相結合的最新成果，标志着我們黨對教育規律的認識達到了新高度。

Xi Jinping's educational philosophy, an integral part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, is the latest achievement in applying the basic principles of Marxism to education in China, and it represents a new height reached by the Party in understanding education.
